Hi! I'm Yolanda, a film-maker/ freelance researcher and co-ordinator and this website is a portfolio of some of my work along with CV that should hopefully get me more work :)

In June 2009 I graduated with a first class honours degree in Media Practice from the University of the west of England, where I specialised in Producing and Project Management. One of my films, "Footsteps" has now been screened in three cinemas in Bristol, including the Cube for the Compass of Desire film festival and the Arnolfini for the student section of Encounters film festival. Another of my films, "Greenlands", recently made the local news with the headline "Film documents farm's special place in history".

Since then I have been producing and editing learning videos for the healthcare industry, involving studio and location shooting, casting, booking crew, creating budgets, schedules, shot lists, call sheets and other production documents, sourcing props and costumes, logging, digitizing, and editing and colour correcting the footage.

Previously, as a production assistant, I thrived in he production office as I enjoy research and have a natural ability to plan and schedule. This included working for for a variety of companies, including: award winning documentary production company, "Icon Films", popular American TV show, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” and for one of England’s leading Advertising production companies, “Happy Hour productions”.

Being dual nationality, British and American, I am looking at film, television and multi-media industries on both sides of the water to help develop my career.
